MY PERSONAL BATTLES TO GREATNESS

I’ve had a lot of success in my life. I became a licensed real estate agent at age 18, and sold 78 homes in my first year – not bad! I wanted more, though. Two years later, I had my first $1 million year as an agent. From there, I opened a successful brokerage, I became an international investor (at one point controlling more than $1 billion worth of real estate), I ran a successful business seminar company (six-figure ticket price-tags), and I’ve educated thousands of entrepreneurs just like you. That’s just the shiny side of the coin… I also had a stress-induced heart attack at age 23. I once lost more than $40 million in a single day. I’ve endured long legal battles that, despite my exonerations, took serious tolls on my physical and mental health: depression, alcoholism, and a long and difficult divorce. I could have quit many times, but looking back on my career, I realize something: Failure has been my greatest teacher all along. Failure forced me to grow in ways that success never could, and the sooner you accept that failure inevitably comes before success, the sooner you will become successful.
